Credit please!
Woohoo! Found out today that the majority of my credit transfers got approved. This means I can concentrate on the subjects I LIKE rather than the ones you HAVE to do as core subjects. I think anyone who has studied any form of further education would agree that a lot of those first year subjects have nothing to do with your chosen career path. I also have to complete some work experience this year, so the credits will give me more time to find the appropriate company. I’d like to think that once I’ve done my experience that I will be offered a permanent position but I’m not holding my breath.
Actually, I’m just glad I’ll be finishing this year and not in a year or so when the Australian government will hike University fees by at least 25%. We’re all heading into the American system where you take out a bank loan so that you can actually get a place at Uni. So not only do you have to score 100/100 on your VCE but you’ll have a rather hefty debt to pay off with added interest! And to think in Johnny Howard’s day, he didn’t pay a cent. Gotta love those baby boomers.

I thought you said your punk ass wasn’t going to discuss politics. I have to haul myself out to Berwick tomorrow to get the useless admin to fix my enrolment… all 3 day’s before school re-starts.
