Sopranos 5th Season

The best television show on the planet returns to Australian screens on Tuesday, May 4th. If Channel 9 fuck it up again, I will get together a protest outside their studios and vow to never watch their network again.
Going to the Radiohead concert tomorrow night. The amount of excitement is nearly unbearable.
Late update on the film Super Size Me. I believe it’s getting a June 3rd release here.
Chris writes a simple yet effective entry in his blog concerning Anzac Day. My sentiments exactly.
Donnie gets a director\rquote s cut. Glad to hear he purposely left off some deleted scenes that never made it onto the DVD. Make\rquote s the director\rquote s cut more justifiable.
The TV series Millennium finally gets the DVD treatment. There was a morbid sadness to this show that The X-Files never seemed to capture.
Quentin talks The Vegas Brothers to Rollingstone.com here. But then sorta refutes it here.
Premiere’s Top 100 Movie Characters
![[ Don Vito Corleone - The greatest movie character of all time? ]](http://hooverdust.com/version2/wp-content/images//godfather_brando.jpg)
Premiere, arguably the world’s most influential film magazine, recently released their top 100 film characters of all-time. I gotta say, I love the list. It contains a few surprises, wtf’s?, and notable exceptions (no Yoda? no Jay and Silent Bob? no Max Caddy? no Gunnery Sgt. Hartman? no Marty McFly? no Mr Blonde? no Reagan/The Devil? not even Mr Myagi?) but overall a damn fine list in my opinion. The fact that they’ve added one of my favourite characters of all-time, ‘The Dude’ from The Big Lebowski, just goes to show what great taste the folks at Premiere have. I’ve decided to add my comments on each of the characters and feel free to add some which didn’t get a mention here:
Super Size Me
![[ 'Trust me. You don't want fries with that' ]](http://hooverdust.com/version2/wp-content/images//supersize_this.jpg)
Stumbling around all the news sites lately, I came across this interesting documentary about one man\rquote s attempt to find out why 37% of American children and adolescents are overweight. He interviews surgeon generals, gym teachers, cooks, school kids, lawmakers and legislators to help find out the \lquote truth\rquote . It\rquote s been labelled ‘The Bowling For Columbine of Fast Food’ and took out the best director award at this years Sundance Festival.
