No not the cheesy 1980’s horror movie but more so the story of my life. Yes I’ve finished what could possibly be the last exam of my entire life and I’m feeling so friggin relieved. The moment I stepped out of that examination hall, I felt like screaming out “fuck yeah” a million times but only managed a couple of shouts. If the Swedes can open their windows and yell out to the top of their lungs each month, then I can too. Unfortunately I still have a couple of subjects to complete before I graduate (including filming a documentary) but those evil, rather pointless periods of mental torture are far behind.

I think it’s a valid point up until Mr Baldwin “looks to the gaming industry for inspiration”. Games are made solely to make a profit, films are not. When filmmakers set out to shoot a documentary, there’s typically another agenda going on besides making profits. And after Howard proposing all schools must have the Australian flag flying on their front doorstep, this just proves my point (which I’ve yet to mention on the site) that we’re one step closer to becoming another American state.

Television hasn’t featured prominently on Hooverdust.com since well, I don’t watch that much television. I despise pretty much all of the reality shows since they’re just banal piss-poor excuses for the television executives to save money. The cost of making a reality show compared to buying the rights or making your own drama or comedy is significant. It makes sense to the fat cats (i.e. cheap show + high ratings = abundance of cash) but we the audience suffer badly, especially on free-to-air TV.
