It's like they've run out of the boring costume comics (Batman) and they're starting on the cool adult comics (Hellboy, Sin City, Hellblazer (Constantine), etc, etc). They're also developing "Global Frequency" into a (probably noir-ish) TV series - a great series which just ended up a few months back in the comics world. But let's hope that this flick doesn't end up as disapointing as Hellboy . . . sigh. Ahh, Sin City, how I love thee!

But most people will be amazed from how different this film looks! Here's hoping that the movie retains the same vibe of the comic, as well as the same level of violence. Some elements in these tales go beyond current mainstream (i.e. US R rating) sensibilities.
