Wondered around the High Vibes festival today, soaking up some sun and checking out bands here and there. Not a bad substitute to the now deceased Brunswick St festival and slightly less crowded (except in the band rooms). Northcote is fast beginning the new rock suburb for Melbourne but I still love the diversity on Brunswick St. But this weekend just went too fast for my liking.

Ultimately charming and heart-warming Pixar effort is a sheer delight from start to finish. Homage's to 2001, E.T and all your favourite childhood Sci-Fi movies are plentiful and just to realise so much emotion from an animated robot that hardly talks throughout the entire movie is a feat in itself. The Blu-ray version will be stunning!
