…and I think the Sigma 18-50mm/2.8 lense will suite her well. While the standard kit 18-55mm lense is functional it becomes apparent all too soon that you want a better, faster lense. I always tell people who ask me about the Canon 350D and 20D/30D’s to try and just buy the body only and save for a better built lense. Of course it all comes down to what you’re shooting. I tend to love low-light situations, a good sense of dop but also a wider-angle so the 18-50/2.8 fits the bill nicely. Generally, the best lenses are fixed focal length and yeah, they might cost you your months rent but you’ll see that money well spent looking at the results.

So now I just gotta wait till that rent money comes in!
