That was an amazing game! I’m not a follower of soccer but when the Aussies are playing in big games such as the World Cup, I really wanna see ‘em do well. The match last night was astounding. To be 1-0 down with only 8 mins left to play… and to kick 3 goals in those 8 mins… AWESOME!
And how the f*ck did the ref not penalize the Japanese goal is beyond me. Anyway, the better team won!
I played soccer for 10 years but it’s been that long since I’ve given it any real consideration. I followed the English Premiere League up until about 5 years ago but other things have taken over.
But for fans and non-fans alike, last nights match was an amazing experience for any Aussie and proves that there is no other sporting specticle in the world that can match the excitement of a close soccer game.
Go Aussie Go! With you all the way! (Almost ;o)
