My new (iPod) Baby
Yay! Well it was getting fucking frustrating catching public transport without my fine tunes numbing out people chewing gum next to me or the barrage of school kids. I settled with a 4Gb Nano in the end. Enough space on there for whatever I’m listening to at that point in time plus my wad of podcasts. And being flash based memory means no shitty hard drive crashes. Gotta love that plus.
While Apple may release a new version of the Nano’s anytime now (possibly around the iPhone release date), even if it had a touch-screen, until that sucker has been tested to death, I’m not touching it! For me, like with any technology, until it’s proven itself in the market for a while, I won’t be folking out my hard earned cash!

Seen these boys play a few times now and they continue to perfect their love of the funk, soul and blues. They’re not a cover band but they did play a freakin’ sweet cover of Hendrix’s ‘Red House’, with Mark (the lead guitarist) hammering it home.
Last nights gig was the bands last for a couple of months but check their Myspace for upcoming gigs if you dig their sounds!

Wall-E
Ultimately charming and heart-warming Pixar effort is a sheer delight from start to finish. Homage's to 2001, E.T and all your favourite childhood Sci-Fi movies are plentiful and just to realise so much emotion from an animated robot that hardly talks throughout the entire movie is a feat in itself. The Blu-ray version will be stunning!
