Hooverdust Version 3
And we’re back! After a few months deliberating over new designs (and there were many), I’ve stuck with this one. No doubt there will be a few bugs to iron out so please let me know if you stumble upon any.
A quick update on things:
- I am getting married in just over two months and I couldn’t be happier.
- Sessional teaching is keeping me hellllllll busy because prep work is a bitch
- The iPhone was released in Australia not too long ago and now that the excitement has worn off, I’ll wait until the incredibly expensive plans drop before I grab one.
- I’ve got three fantastic gigs coming up and shooting one
- Film-wise, I’ve been adding very quick reviews to my Facebook Flixster movie app but I plan to bring them back to the blog
- Music-wise, Bon Iver and Young Galaxy have been flying through the Hooverwaves of late
- Game-wise? Huh? Typically I don’t play games but the Wii has fixed that. Mario Kart is still as addictive as ever
Oh and now that every soul on the entire planet has seen The Dark Knight, is it possible to top it?

Wall-E
Ultimately charming and heart-warming Pixar effort is a sheer delight from start to finish. Homage's to 2001, E.T and all your favourite childhood Sci-Fi movies are plentiful and just to realise so much emotion from an animated robot that hardly talks throughout the entire movie is a feat in itself. The Blu-ray version will be stunning!
