Hrmmmm the new Coen Bros film gets 48/100 on Metacritic.com but 73% on Rotten Tomatoes. Guess I’ll have to see this one for myself to judge.

Ultimately charming and heart-warming Pixar effort is a sheer delight from start to finish. Homage's to 2001, E.T and all your favourite childhood Sci-Fi movies are plentiful and just to realise so much emotion from an animated robot that hardly talks throughout the entire movie is a feat in itself. Something weird is going on with this flick. The studio doesn’t seem to be spending any money on promotion. This is the Coen’s follow up to the widely acclaimed ‘No Country’ and I found out about it a week or so before the American release date… Something is not right.

Maybe they think it’s a stinker. Most of the reviews that I’ve seen are positive though, but say that the ending is typically Coeny [eg: unconventional].
Yeah the Coen comedies never get marketed very well and perhaps the studio’s thought they would follow-up No Country with something quite similar but didn’t like what they delivered.
I’ll still see it though!
