Okay so it’s kinda sucky and I’m clearly no digital Photoshop artist but it was fun trying to come up with idea’s for the Canon Photo5 competition. I have no delusions of winning but as my flickr pal Lucky says “You gotta be in it to win it”.

  Public Enemies for sure (Michael Mann directs Johnny Depp and Christian Bale? Whoahh!), Where the Wild Things Are, The Year One. But they left out Avatar, This Side of the Truth, A Serious Man, The Brothers Bloom, Shutter Island, etc... Via EW.
- Arcade Fire Have Scored Richard Kelly's Next Film
  A new album in 2009 is doubtful but a live DVD out in March and the score to Richard Kelly's (Donnie Darko's) next film The Box in November. Can't wait! Via Pitchfork.
- 2009 Music Releases
  Stereogum also did a list but this one is chronological. I'm anticipating the new one's from Andrew Bird, Handsome Furs, Built to Spill, Midlake, M.Ward, Massive Attack, Decemberists, The Avalanches and many surprises of course! Via Metacritic.
- 10 Best Bits Of Christmas From Non-Christmas Movies
  You know. If you don't want to watch xmas movies but might need a little hit. Via Cinemablend.
- Elm St Remake Ready To Go
  Shooting apparently begins in the US Spring. It's by the guys behind the new Friday the 13th remake and they want to make it dark and scary again. I'm down with that. Billy-Bob Thornton won't be playing Freddy as reported earlier. What about Crispin Glover? Via ShockTillYouDrop.
- Last.fm - Best of 2008
  Too many Coldplay tracks in there for Best Tracks but other than that, it's good to see last.fm'ers having great taste! Via last.fm.
- Lost Season 5 season premiere clip
  From the season 5 opener, premiering Wed January 21st in the US. Via YouTube.
- 5D MKII Australian Prices
