I have complaining for year to friends that TERMINATOR III was basically a remake of T2. It ended where it should have started.

Cameron is a master of telling a story in a film. Even though Harlan Ellison successfully sued Cameron and Co. for using elements of Ellison’s OUTER LIMITS tale ‘Solider’ in TERMINATOR, he (Ellison) had nothing but praise for ALIENS: “a story that works like crazy” and “gritting my teeth at having to commend Cameron for a job well done.”

A great review James….now shall I skip this movie and rent it on DVD? That seems to be the best way to show my contempt for the studio execs. McG should never have done this project.

P.S. I’ve also been complaining to long-suffering friends for years that Christian Bale cannot act. He can play broad roles and was good in AMERICAN PSYCHO, but the bloke can’t fucking emote to save himself. Meh indeed!

Yeah they should just get this new trilogy done asap and then go back, restart the franchise and set it back in present day. Make it hard ‘R’ like the original and make the Terminators nasty, vicious killers again. Make people fear them again.

Give us a new exciting villain, give the story some depth and bring back the original music.

Ah what I would do with $200 million…
