Things are a Bit Fucked 

Hosting my Insanity
Well I’ve migrated over to my new host (dreamhost.com). But getting my backed up Wordpress database to work was a bitch. Their web control panel leaves a lot to be desired and when you’re not overly familiar with MySQL and phpMyAdmin (being the non-developer that I am), they make it very freaken difficult to get things back online again. It took me nearly forever to find phpMyAdmin. I’m used to the cPanel interface which is much easier to navigate and find things. But the good news is that the site should load faster. Notice any speed improvements?

First change you’ll probably notice is that I’ve had to change my permalinks. Why? I’m not sure. So if you’ve linked to an article of mine in the past, chances are the link will be lost. Try removing the ‘index.php’ part of the link and it should be fixed. Secondly, the live comment preview plugin now doesn’t work. Why? Who knows. I tried uninstalling the plugin, then reinstalling it but no luck. Hopefully I’ll figure out the issue soon.

Onto brighter news, my birthday celebrations were awesome. Friends, beer gardens, great food, weddings, and I took no photos whatsoever! Sometimes it’s better to just relax and enjoy yourself rather than continually taking snaps of everyone.

A completely HUGE weekend of celebrations ended around 8am Sunday morning and a very sore head all of Sunday and today. I had in total 5 birthdays to attend in one night although three of them were in the same place so it made things a little easier. I stuck the camera in people’s faces and most were happy to be snapped.

Birthday Shenanigans

Shenanigans. Such a totally underrated word. More birthday eating, drinking and hanging out with friends on Friday night. Started off with some quality Thai food and then some extensive bar hopping which moved from the city laneways through to St Kilda and then back to the ‘Hooverpad’ for some additional drinking. An unpredictable, unexpected good night in the end. The above picture of Chargey lusting after Scarlett Johansson was taken around 1am in St Kilda while this one was taken moments before in the city, which was an attempt at another ‘jumping’ photo. Something tells me I need a better camera. Any suggestions?
