Canon 5D MkII is here!
21.1 megapixel CMOS sensor, DIGIC 4 processor with 14-bit analog-to-digital conversion, the ability to capture Full HD 1,920 x 1,080 video, 15-point autofocus with 9 selectable AF points, 3-inch Live View LCD offering 4x the pixels of the original 5D, and a 3.9fps burst for unlimited JPEGs or up to 14 RAW images when using a UDMA CF card. Seems like Canon are back in the race after Nikon announced the D90. Don’t think I can afford US$2700 at the end of the November when it goes on sale either!
Full details here.
Canon 5D MkII nearly here?

Canon have launched a teaser site for a new camera on the horizon. Bets are down that it’s a 5D replacement model. We’ll find out soon.
I bought my 5D not too long ago at an insanely cheap price with a free Canon 80Gb storage device. I would expect a significant improvement to justify an upgrade.
