Ruth and Greg’s Wedding
I turned wedding photographer for a day on the weekend. I shot it for a friend of my sisters up in Daylesford. It was the perfect time of the year because it’s incredibly green up there and despite the raining falling seconds after the ceremony finished, it was a lovely day for the couple. The trickiest part I found was getting the bride and groom portraits under the shitty conditions (it was raining by then and dark under the trees). I can’t imagine I will be shooting another wedding anytime soon and quite frankly, I’d rather be the informal photographer than the formal one. It’s a long, quite tedious day.

Ultimately charming and heart-warming Pixar effort is a sheer delight from start to finish. Homage's to 2001, E.T and all your favourite childhood Sci-Fi movies are plentiful and just to realise so much emotion from an animated robot that hardly talks throughout the entire movie is a feat in itself.
