Is that a Lomo?
In my continual pursuit into different cameras both digital and film, someone inspired me to shoot some lomo photos. Unfortunately I don’t own a lomo camera but I managed to recreate the cross-processed look well enough in Photoshop. Can you tell the difference?
Getting Old
The family dog Tobes is 14 years old and still enjoying life. I wonder how much the old fella has left in him since his hips are starting to give way. The biggest health problem with Golden Retrievers is hip dysplasia but Tobes has managed to keep strong and vibrant, despite his age. A water dog first and a guffer (i.e high wind capacity) second, I’m dedicating this photo to my family so that they can still see he’s happy despite being thousands of miles apart.

Ultimately charming and heart-warming Pixar effort is a sheer delight from start to finish. Homage's to 2001, E.T and all your favourite childhood Sci-Fi movies are plentiful and just to realise so much emotion from an animated robot that hardly talks throughout the entire movie is a feat in itself.
