    Public Enemies for sure (Michael Mann directs Johnny Depp and Christian Bale? Whoahh!), Where the Wild Things Are, The Year One. But they left out Avatar, This Side of the Truth, A Serious Man, The Brothers Bloom, Shutter Island, etc... Via EW.

    A new album in 2009 is doubtful but a live DVD out in March and the score to Richard Kelly's (Donnie Darko's) next film The Box in November. Can't wait! Via Pitchfork.

    Stereogum also did a list but this one is chronological. I'm anticipating the new one's from Andrew Bird, Handsome Furs, Built to Spill, Midlake, M.Ward, Massive Attack, Decemberists, The Avalanches and many surprises of course! Via Metacritic.

    Shooting apparently begins in the US Spring. It's by the guys behind the new Friday the 13th remake and they want to make it dark and scary again. I'm down with that. Billy-Bob Thornton won't be playing Freddy as reported earlier. What about Crispin Glover? Via ShockTillYouDrop.
